I guess you could say that I've been running since I was in elementary school. I can remember my dad would go for a run and he would let me run with him for his first mile. I also remember running the one mile loop in our neighborhood with my best friend. I moved on to track in junior high, and track and cross country in high school. I always loved running, well as much as one can love that kind of torture. Now as a busy wife and mom, it has been very off and on, but I always come back. This blog is a place for me to keep track of my on and off running life.

  • C25K Week 2 Day 1
The run has changed this week to running for 1 1/2 minutes and walking for 2 minutes.  Before it was running for 1 minute and walking for 1 1/2 minutes.  I'm only putting about 1 1/2 miles on per day right now.  It's very slow, too.  I am at a 4.0 for running and 2.8 for walking.  But I hope once I get my body used to it I will be able to speed up.  I'm trying to make sure I don't go too fast and end up hurt.
